Païssa is an outdoor venue, and while Ibiza enjoys excellent weather from April to October, we always recommend having a backup plan in place.
✅ 1. Tents / Marquees (recommended solution)
In case of rain, wind or unstable weather, professional marquees can be rented and installed on the main terraces.
Your wedding planner or caterers (Zest) will help organise the correct size and setup.
Tents protect:
- Ceremony
- Dinner setup
- Bar & reception areas
- Furniture, décor and sound equipment
This is the most reliable and commonly used solution.
✅ 2. Covered Porch (for dinners up to 80 guests)
We have a covered porch which can seat up to 80 guests for dinner.
This option works well for slightly smaller weddings or when only the dining portion needs protection.
🚫 3. Indoor backup
Païssa does not offer indoor function rooms.
The indoor spaces (bedrooms, lounge, etc.) are reserved for the staying guests only and are not suitable for hosting events.
🌦️ How often is the backup plan needed?
Very rarely.
Rain during the Ibiza wedding season is uncommon, but not impossible, so having a contingency plan gives peace of mind.
✨ Our recommendation
- Your planner should have a clear Plan B in place, especially April, early May, late September and October.
- Final decisions about tents are usually made 2–3 days before the event, based on accurate forecasts.
- Timelines may need slight adjustments, but suppliers are experienced with Plan B scenarios.
