You still get the entire villa exclusively for your celebration — the terraces, gardens, ceremony spaces, dining areas and The Cave (our private underground disco) — all set among sea views, forest surroundings and golden sunset light.

Day Hires are limited each season and released on a fixed calendar, making them ideal for couples who want clarity, structure and a seamless event day.

10:00 – VENUE OPENS

Suppliers arrive, setup begins, and the terraces start transforming into your wedding vision.
The bridal prep room is available for hair & makeup from the moment you arrive.

14:30–16:00 – GUESTS ARRIVE

Depending on the month, the start time will change

WELCOME DRINKS – 30 MINUTES

A welcome drink awaits on the terrace shaded by tall pine trees — the perfect soft start to the day.

CEREMONY – 30 MINUTES

Most couples choose the intimate sea-facing terrace, naturally framed by pine trees and Mediterranean landscape.
It’s private, romantic and feels like the island is yours.

POST CEREMONY RECEPTION – 1.5 HOURS OR 2 HOURS

A wedding day can be a long journey, but with later ceremony times in Ibiza, we encourage a slow and relaxing start to your special day at Païssa d’en Bernat.

We recommend that the bride and bridesmaids get ready at the villa, creating a calm and beautiful atmosphere to enjoy the morning. For the groom and groomsmen, we suggest they choose a different location, allowing the bride and her party to have space to relax and prepare.

The bridesmaids can arrive from 10 AM, and depending on the size of the party, you have a couple of options. If there are fewer bridesmaids, a sit-down breakfast is a lovely way to start the day. For larger groups, a buffet-style breakfast works better, allowing each person to eat on their own schedule, based on their hair and makeup timings.

To make the morning even more special, Zest Catering offers a variety of breakfast options, including a brunch buffet, Graze boxes, or a breakfast service to suit your style and preferences. These can be customized to accommodate your needs, providing a delightful start to the day.

Timings for hair and makeup will be coordinated with your professional suppliers, and we advise that everyone is ready by the time guests arrive. This will allow for an extra 30 minutes for any last-minute touches and to capture some beautiful pre-wedding moments.

Throughout the morning, all external suppliers and our Païssa team will be on-site, preparing the ceremony space, drinks areas, and dining areas to ensure everything is set up perfectly for your big day. Our Ibiza wedding team will make sure everything runs smoothly, so you can focus on enjoying these precious moments before saying “I do.”

Welcome drinks are served on our ceremony sunset terrace, accompanied by soothing “Café del Mar” style background music. Your guests will have 30 minutes to enjoy the surroundings, take in the decor, and get settled in before the big moment. It’s a chance for everyone to unwind, soak in the atmosphere, and celebrate your journey so far.

As the time arrives for you to walk down the aisle, it’s your moment to join your other half in marriage, surrounded by your loved ones. For your family and friends, this will be an unforgettable moment, witnessing your love for one another on this very special day in Ibiza.

We recommend… When it comes to venue decor, less is more. The natural beauty of Païssa with its stunning views provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding and needs very little enhancement. Your personal touch can shine through with carefully chosen accents, whether it’s flowers, candles, or other meaningful details. Our recommended florists and decorators are here to help bring your vision to life.

For the ceremony itself, we highly recommend adding a personal touch. While the ceremony may feel nerve-racking, it’s worth taking the time to ensure it reflects who you are as a couple. The right celebrant will put you at ease, guiding you through a ceremony that tells your story and feels meaningful. This is the moment that sets the tone for your marriage, and it’s one you’ll look back on and cherish forever.

Zest Catering will serve all of your guests a welcome drink based on your selected menu choice, ensuring everyone feels pampered from the start. Our Venue Manager will be on hand to assist in settling your guests and directing them to the ceremony area. Once your guests are in place, your celebrant will take over, ensuring everything flows smoothly and that your ceremony is perfectly organized.

As your ceremony concludes and you walk back up the aisle together, the celebrations truly begin! This is the moment for your guests to shower you with congratulations, and it’s also the perfect time to enjoy a cold drink at the bar. We’ll be serving refreshing Spanish Sangria, ice-cold beers, Spanish wines, soft drinks, and juices for the little ones. Alongside these drinks, your delicious canapés will begin to circulate, offering the perfect balance of tastes to start your reception.

The timing for the reception is typically between 1 and 1.5 hours for food service, which allows everyone to mingle, enjoy the atmosphere, and savor the flavors. For larger weddings, with over 60 guests, we recommend extending this to 2 hours, ensuring you have ample time to enjoy the moment without feeling rushed. This additional time will also allow for more family and couple pictures, capturing precious memories of your special day.

Our in-house caterers have already worked with you to perfect a bespoke menu that suits your tastes. During the reception, flying canapés will be served, but you may also want to elevate your experience by adding something interactive and fun, such as a Carved Ham station, a Taco Station, or another creative food station that suits your theme. Drinks will flow alongside the food—whether it’s sangría, beer, cocktails, or any of your favorite beverages. It’s about offering your guests an immersive experience, allowing them to relax, mingle, and enjoy the moment while being continuously pampered.

The relaxed atmosphere of this part of the day is key to setting the tone for the evening. Your guests can enjoy the shade of the pines and be served delicious food and drinks, allowing everyone to kick back and enjoy the gorgeous Ibiza vibe. We create an experience that feels like high-end service: elegant yet effortless, with everything flowing seamlessly.

If you’d like to add some atmospheric live music, we work with a selection of talented professionals, all listed in our vendor directory. You’re welcome to check out their styles and choose the perfect soundtrack for your reception. Live entertainment is entirely optional, so if you prefer, we can provide background music or you can share your personal playlist with us.

We recommend… Some couples ask about going for a photo shoot at the nearby cliffs overlooking Es Vedra. If you’d like to schedule an Es Vedra shooting session with your photographer, simply check with them first. We’ll be happy to extend the cocktail reception to two hours, but please note that this is only recommended for April, May, and October weddings, as the heat in summer can make it challenging to go off-site.

We recommend scheduling your speeches immediately after the meal, giving you a chance to enjoy the sunset while sipping on a chilled glass of Cava. This timing will also help set the tone for the evening and create a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere.

We recommend… taking a moment to think about whether a wedding cake is something you truly want. While it’s a beautiful tradition, we’ve noticed that wedding cakes often go uneaten and are eventually discarded. Instead, consider a more memorable and practical alternative, like a stacked cheese tower or a Champagne tower—both of which are crowd-pleasers and add a fun, unique touch to your reception.

The cocktail sunset—which is already factored into your timings—is the perfect moment for that extra drink, whether it’s the Champagne tower, popping a bottle of champagne, or just enjoying a chilled glass as you soak in the stunning views. Whatever resonates with you, this is your moment to make it unforgettable.

As your meal comes to a close, you’ll be treated to one of Ibiza’s most breathtaking sunsets! This is the perfect moment to capture stunning photos, enjoy a relaxed moment with your guests, and soak in the romance of your special day. To truly make the most of this magical moment, we recommend starting your open bar with a special sunset cocktail service, 30 minutes before the sun sets into the sea. This gives you and your guests the chance to enjoy a refreshing cocktail while soaking in the spectacular views. It’s the perfect way to start the celebration and turn the sunset into an unforgettable event.

As the evening progresses, we’ll seamlessly transition into the party! Your first dance is yours to personalize—start the moment together, and then invite your bridesmaids and ushers to join in, encouraging your guests to hit the dancefloor. Ultimately, the night ends with you dancing under the stars, on the dancefloor set up under the covered porch.

Your DJ, a wedding expert, will create the perfect ambiance to get your guests moving. Together, you’ll have already chosen the soundtrack to your celebration, so everything is ready for you to fully enjoy the evening.

We recommend… The minimum hours for our open bar is 3, but you can extend it to 4 or 5 hours (with the event concluding no later than 1 AM). For optimal use of your time, we suggest no more than 5 hours of open bar service. We’re happy to work around your preferences and create the experience that best suits your group.

While your event concludes at 1 AM due to local regulations, the celebration doesn’t have to end here. We can help arrange transportation for you and your guests to one of Ibiza’s top spots to continue the party. Just let us know if you’d like recommendations, and we’ll be delighted to assist!
