es — absolutely.
Many couples choose to have a Catholic church ceremony followed by their wedding celebration at Païssa d’en Bernat.
✔ Closest and most popular churches
- San Agustín Church
(5 minutes from Païssa, beautiful, intimate, traditional) - Es Cubells Church
(15 minutes from Païssa, cliffside views, iconic and very sought-after)
Both churches are authorised for Catholic weddings and are among the most charming on the island.
⭐ How it works
- Your ceremony takes place at the church.
- After the ceremony, guests are transported to Païssa by minibus (mandatory both ways).
- Your wedding celebration then continues at the villa:
- Welcome drinks
- Dinner on the terraces
- Sunset moment
- Party in The Cave until the early hours
This combination is very popular and works seamlessly.
⚠ A few important notes
- Churches handle all legal, religious and administrative processes directly with you — Païssa is not involved in church arrangements.
- Church ceremonies must start early enough to allow proper timing for welcome drinks, dinner and sunset at the villa.
- Transport must be booked for both arrival and departure.
- Couples must factor in travel time: 5–15 minutes depending on the church.
💡 Tip from Cris
Church weddings followed by a Païssa celebration work beautifully when the ceremony is mid-afternoon, allowing guests to arrive to Païssa in time for a relaxed cocktail hour and a perfect sunset dinner.
