Holiday stays at Païssa d’en Bernat are designed for guests seeking a calm, respectful and nature-led environment.

Païssa is not a hotel or resort. It operates as a private home that welcomes a limited number of guests at any given time.

The guesthouse operates as a shared house.

Rooms are booked individually, and common areas are shared with other guests. The atmosphere is quiet and considerate by design, and guests are expected to respect shared spaces and one another.

The guesthouse is self-catered.
Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen and prepare their own meals.

Païssa is not a hotel. It is a home that is also a place of work.

While the owners do not live on site full time, Païssa remains an active, working property during guesthouse periods. This means that, from time to time:

Wedding or event site visits may take place

Tastings or small preparatory meetings may occur

The owners may visit the property as part of their work

On occasion, the owners may also be present with family or friends

These moments are part of the normal rhythm of Païssa and are handled with care and discretion. They do not turn the house into a venue or disrupt the overall calm, but they do mean that absolute privacy cannot be guaranteed during guesthouse stays.

During selected guesthouse periods, Païssa may also serve as a meeting point for curated island experiences led by trusted external partners.

Usually take place on designated event terraces

While we take care to keep these moments separate from the main house, Païssa remains a shared environment and we cannot — and do not — micromanage natural curiosity or interaction.

Outside of these moments, the guesthouse functions as a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Guests who prefer a completely activity-free stay are encouraged to book outside experience weeks.

For guests seeking complete privacy, Païssa may be booked as a full house.

The property is reserved exclusively for your group

No other guests, visits or activities take place

This option is for accommodation only (no events/parties)

Full-house holiday stays are ideal for guests who require uninterrupted privacy and sole use of the property.

Full-house bookings are arranged via enquiry to ensure availability and suitability.

Events are accepted selectively and take place within a clear framework designed to protect the privacy of each celebration, the rhythm of the house, and the surrounding environment. Païssa is not a high-volume or open venue.

EVENT FORMATS AT PAÏSSA

Païssa offers two distinct event formats:

Events with accommodation

Day hire events (without accommodation)

Both formats are private and exclusive, but they follow different structures and levels of flexibility.

This is the most immersive way to celebrate at Païssa and is particularly suited to weddings and multi-day gatherings.

Key points:

Exclusive accommodation hire is required

An event fee is applied separately to the accommodation fee

Dates are discussed personally and may be flexible depending on availability

One or two events may be hosted during the stay, depending on the booking

Each proposal is bespoke

During events with accommodation, the property is entirely private.
No site visits, viewings or external appointments take place during the event period.

Weddings at Païssa are hosted as private, intentional celebrations.

Weddings may continue until 4:00 am when using our purpose-built discotheque, The Cave

Late-night use of The Cave is subject to availability and an extension fee

Use of a professional wedding planner is strongly advised

Païssa provides the setting and venue management.
We do not act as wedding planners or organisers.

All event design, logistics, supplier coordination and guest management are the responsibility of the couple and their appointed professionals

Day hire is available on selected, non-flexible dates and does not include accommodation.

For full house holiday bookings, events and retreats, communication is personal and direct.
Check-in, access and key moments are handled individually to ensure a smooth arrival and stay.
